In an ever-changing world filled with unexpected challenges, being "strong" is no longer just about physical power—it’s about resilience, adaptability, and social intelligence. The Bamboo Mindset Kit: Hero Training Edition is a specialized eTwinning project designed to equip students with essential life skills. By using the natural growth of bamboo as a metaphor, we guide our "future heroes" through STEM education principles.

Expert Invitation: Shaping the Future of Education through Collaboration!
Webinar Report: "Bamboo Heroes Beyond the Sky"
On February 24, 2026, I successfully organized and delivered an exclusive international webinar titled "Bamboo Heroes Beyond the Sky: Transforming Science into Interactive Adventures". This session was a core component of my ongoing B.A.M.B.O.O 5.0 Mindset Kit: Hero Training Edition project, a collaborative initiative under eTwinning and Erasmus+ KA-121-SCH.
Webinar Overview and Objectives
As the project founder and moderator, I designed this session to bridge the gap between complex scientific concepts and interactive student engagement. The primary goal was to explore how STEM education can be gamified to teach essential life skills and resilience.
Key Highlights & Guest Expert
The webinar featured a distinguished guest speaker, M. Hadi Tabatabaei Yazdi, who brings a wealth of expertise as the:
CEO of Angareh Physics Company and Angareh Physics Toos Cooperative.
Project Manager of the Afalaknamah Project at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
Founder and President of Engarium Planetarium.
Innovative Outcomes: The Bamboo Forest Game
A significant milestone reached during this session was the announcement of a strategic partnership with Mr. Yazdi and his team. They have generously volunteered to develop the pilot version of our dream project:

Arzu Erdoğan Alkan- THE ANCHOR GARDEN: Magic Knots & Canva Manuals
Students explored the importance of knots and ropes in daily life and human history. They learned that knot tying is both a practical life skill and a discipline that requires patience and repeated practice. Through the Magic Knots training activity, students practiced step-by-step shoelace tying using the “magic knot” method and we collected information about the importance of this skills then, made an infographic on Canva.
The learning process was hands-on and collaborative. Students practiced tying their own shoelaces, aimed to succeed independently, and repeated the skill multiple times to build confidence. Peer support was encouraged — students guided and helped each other while learning.
By the end of the activity, students strengthened fine motor skills, persistence, cooperation, and self-reliance, while gaining a useful everyday skill they can apply in real life.
